On Wednesday 11 November 2015, we brought together more than thirty fashion designers, leading journalists and CEOs of major brands, retailers and manufacturers at the UK Houses of Parliament to discuss how sustainability can be taken to scale in the fashion and textiles industry and how the new Mysource.io platform will make that possible.
Together we have the opportunity to establish better prospects for the world's children by investing in their future at a scale capable of achieving universal pre-primary education by 2030. This is necessary for business. This is necessary for society. And most importantly, this is necessary for the future of our children.
The world of fashion is increasingly under the environmental spotlight as the impact of the industry becomes apparent from pesticides in cotton through to working conditions in Bangladesh. Top of the hit list are fast fashion chains with campaigns questioning whether the pile it high sell it cheap model can be environmental sustainable.
