Sol Campbell has retired from football after a 19-year career in the game.
The former Tottenham and Arsenal centre-back won 73 caps for England, scoring one goal against Sweden at the 2002 World Cup.
Campbell won the League Cup with Spurs in 1999 before he crossed the north London divide to sign for Arsenal in 2001, much to the Lilywhites' chagrin.
At Arsenal, he won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups, but missed out on the 2003 final due to a red card he received against Manchester United in the Premier League.
He departed Arsenal in 2006 to join Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth, where he was instrumental in the club's 2008 FA Cup victory.
A daft stint at Notts County (he played one game) preceded a brief return to Arsenal, before he saw out his playing days in the black and white of Newcastle United.
His final England match came in the disastrous 3-2 defeat to Croatia at home, which scuppered chances of a Euro 2008 berth. Campbell however did do the following:
