Jay Rodriguez's deserved England call up highlights Southampton's surge up the Premier League table under Mauricio Pochettino.

Rodriguez, 24, is joined in the Three Lions squad by club colleagues Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana, who earns his second squad inclusion under Roy Hodgson.

Should both Rodriguez and the uncapped Lallana play against Chile or Germany for the Three Lions' friendlies, they will take Southampton's tally of England internationals up to 19.
