Manchester United now boast a staggering 36 sponsors after they announced Apollo Tyres as the club's "first official tyre partner in UK and India".

United have been told to get a grip in the transfer market but have got the wrong end of the (gear) stick.

David Moyes is still yet to reinforce his squad this summer, after failing with bids for Cesc Fàbregas, Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini.

Bulova (official timekeeper) and Pepsi are unlikely to enhance the midfield, but are the only summer additions prior to the arrival of Apollo Tyres, as the club's enviable revenue seems set to rise.
