Former Manchester United manager Eric Djemba-Djemba has joined St Mirren nine years after he left the Old Trafford club.

Djemba-Djemba arrived in Manchester along with Kléberson, David Bellion, Tim Howard and Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer of 2003 as Sir Alex Ferguson identified a raft of long-term replacements for established stars.

Whereas Ronaldo went on to become one of United's greatest players, Djemba-Djemba is remembered as one of the worst.
