A Saudi Arabian footballer has suffered a horrific injury during a match on Saturday.

As Al Orubah took on Al Shoalah in the country's top flight game, a tumble by Emad Sahab resulted in his ankle twisting 180 degrees.

The match was temporarily halted as his fellow players looked on in horror.

Sahab's team, Al Orubah, went on to win 2-0 but the result was heavily over-shadowed by the incident.
