Liverpool striker Luis Suárez will wear the world's first pair of knitted football boots against Manchester United next month.

The Samba primeknit is likely to be worn by Adidas' other star clients Lionel Messi and Gareth Bale.

Suárez is set to don the innovative footwear at Old Trafford on 16 March - a ground he has lost at three times.
