Venus Williams has been dumped out of Wimbledon in the first round by Russian Elena Vesnina.
The five-time champions was beaten 6-1 6-3 by the 25-year-old Russian.
It is only the 32-year-old's second first round defeat at the All England Club.
The unseeded Williams lost the opening five games in a dismal opening set and was broken in the sixth game of the second set when she missed a forehand. Vesnina aced to win the match.
