A day after he sacked Malky Mackay, Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan appeared to boo his own team after they surrendered a two-goal lead at home to Sunderland.

Steven Fletcher and Jack Colback scored in the last seven minutes to earn the Black Cats an unlikely point at Cardiff City Stadium, as the Bluebirds missed out on a chance to move up to 13th.

And the Sky Sports cameras seemed to capture Tan booing the players at the final whistle.

The pantomime villain is about as popular as Lee Trundle in Cardiff following Mackay's dismissal, and his latest act of petulance is likely to intensify the antipathy amongst Cardiff supporters.

Last season, Tan's footballing knowledge was so dismal he was understood to be angry goalkeeper David marshall had not scored any goals.
