Arsenal weren't dressed to impress in training on Tuesday ahead of their Champions League play-off with Fenerbahçe, as they bid to kick-start their campaign.
The beleaguered Gunners, under pressure after an opening day Premier League defeat to Aston Villa, face a stern test in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Arsenal won 5-2 away to Fenerbahçe in the 2008 the group stage of the competition, but the circumstances are markedly different this time.
Pressure is mounting on manager Arsène Wenger not just to overcome the Turkish outfit but to reinforce his flagging squad.
Yaya Sanogo, a free transfer from Auxerre, is the only new arrival this summer and even Gunners striker Olivier Giroud admitted he would relish some competition.
"In my opinion, it's necessary for the club to recruit another striker," the Frenchman said after the Villa defeat. "Obviously, I think about it a little bit. It may change the play one day, especially if it's a high profile signing.
