Happy Birthday, Jimmy Greaves: 50 Great Pictures Of England, Tottenham And Chelsea Legend

Jimmy Greaves, one of the most prolific strikers in English football history, celebrates his 74th birthday today.

Greaves scored an astonishing 44 goals in 57 internationals for England, 132 in 169 for Chelsea, 266 in 379 for Tottenham and nine in 14 for AC Milan.

In 1960, Greaves became the youngest ever player to score 100 league goals in English football at the age of 20 years and 290 days, which remains a league record.

Overall, he tallied 464 goals in just 657 games for club and country.
