Manchester United have now won less than 50% of their 25 Premier League fixtures this season. Their alarming freefall under David Moyes continued with a 2-2 draw against bottom club Fulham on Sunday, which compelled the Scot to admit that was "as bad as it gets".

He also accused his side of "mental softness" for allowing Darren Bent to nod in a stoppage-time equaliser. United's hallmark under Sir Alex Ferguson was salvaging victory in the dying embers, yet it is the opposite under his predecessor. Late goals conceded against Southampton, Cardiff, Everton, Swansea and Sunderland have effectively killed their hopes of any domestic silverware in this disastrous campaign.

Including Bent's header, five of those aforementioned goals have come at Old Trafford, which has not been so welcoming to its visitors in aeons. Moyes has won six, drawn three and lost four of his home League games, and the outstanding win against Arsenal in November was owed more to steel, rather than silk.

Over seven months into his United reign, there is scarcely any evidence to suggest he deserves to be Manchester United manager.

United 2-2 Fulham: For nearly an hour, the Whites were homing in on a first win at United in just over 10 years, but the Reds recovered thanks to Van Persie and Michael Carrick's efforts. United 4-1 Aston Villa: Moyes' home League record looks to have ended with United's most comprehensive win of the season.
