Manchester United moved 15 points clear for at least 24 hours as they beat sorry Queens Park Rangers 2-0 at Loftus Road, while Arsenal ended a turbulent week with a narrow win against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
A smashing volley from Rafael da Silva gave United the lead at Loftus Road before Giggs settled the contest towards the end. Elsewhere in the capital, Santi Cazorla was the hero as he hit a double for the Gunners after Andreas Weimann had equalised midway through the second period.

In Norfolk, Norwich City conjured up a sensational comeback to beat Everton 2-1 at Carrow Road. Trailing by Leon Osman's goal with just six minutes to play, Kei Kamara's header levelled the scoreline before Grant Holt stabbed in an unlikely 90th minute winner for the Canaries' first win in 10 games.
West Brom defeated Sunderland 2-1 at the Hawthorns, Wigan lifted themselves out of the relegation zone with a precious 3-0 victory at Reading, and in the early kick-off a sublime Dimitar Berbatov volley earned Fulham just their fourth victory in 19 Premier League games. Jonathan Walters had a penalty saved by Mark Schwarzer shortly after the pause.
