Hillsborough Anniversary Commemorations Through The Years (PICTURES)

Britain's worst football disaster happened at Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough stadium 25 years ago today, when 96 fans were crushed to death during an FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.

Football followers nationwide have annually paid their respects ever since.
