The video of Obama taking part in a Twitter Q&A, posted on the official White House You Tube channel, is a behind the scenes look at president's visit to Newton, Iowa, in May.
Having initially had it pointed out to him that his previous tweet was quite short he replied: "That's how I roll."
The White House Twitter account has over three million followers and has tweeted 6,841 times. Tweets from the president himself are signed off "bo" - which could cause some confusion as Bo is also the name of the Obama family's dog.
The account only follows back 168 people, but David Cameron can rest easy knowing that his official account is one of them.
