David Cameron has been heavily criticised lately for seconding an MoD photographer to take pictures of the PM and all his chums.

All this just two years after he was forced to get rid of his own personal £35,000 cameraman after a public outcry over the expense at a time of austerity.

Labour have said it's a disgrace Cameron should be allowed an MoD vanity photographer at a time when thousands of personnel are being made redundant.

Perhaps, but there is certainly an argument to be made that Cameron is desperately in need of one.
