Ed Miliband is due to spend from now until polling day campaigning on behalf of Better Together to persuade Scots to reject independence.

However one caller to BBC Radio 2, Dale from Pontypridd in Wales, was not too impressed with the Labour leader's efforts so far.

He told Jeremy Vine: "It's no good the leaders rushing north, they are just going to push the Yes vote over the line. The Scots see Miliband as watered down whisky. During this coalition he has been as much use to traditional Labour voters as a boil on the scrotum, he has been absolutely pathetic."
