Tony Blair is back, this time advising Labour Party members on the leadership contest, leaving many of them seriously unhappy.

The race for the top job is heating up – especially now left winger Jeremy Corbyn might actually take the crown against all the odds.

Blair, arguably the party's most electoral successful prime minister for decades, has been advising members ‘Labour won’t win from the left'.

He also told Corbyn's supporters to 'get a transplant' if their hearts lay with him as a candidate.

People on Twitter did not react well.

Not that Blair’s intervention is especially surprising. If there’s a major event, he’s likely to air his opinion.

Just like with….

Blair's no stranger to Iraq for obvious reasons. He is however, adamant that the current surge in violence is absolutely nothing to do with to do with that time he ordered the British Army to topple Saddam which consequently unleashed horrific sectarian violence that has wracked the country for over 10 years now. Nope, nothing to do with that... (credit:AP)
