We have to admit: there was one point during yesterday's Olympic boxing match between Team GB's Nicola Adams and China's Ren Cancan when we found ourselves stuffing cuddly toys in our mouths in order to steady our nerves.

And it turns out we weren't the only ones. Just look at Dexter - Nicola's 10-month-old Doberman - who was watching the fight 200 miles away at a Leeds kennels...

Apparently, Dexter was glued to the match - which, as you're doubtless aware, Nicola eventually won - and wouldn't let Princess the Poodle turn over to Deal or No Deal.
