Webby Awards 2012: Pegg And Frost Fly The Comedy Flag For Britain

Webby Awards Nominees: Who's Flying The Comedy Flag For Britain?
|

The Webby Awards - "the leading international award honouring excellence on the Internet" - have announced their 2012 nominees.

While the Webbys reward everything from activism to personal blogs - and while they say they received 10,000 entries from over 60 countries this year - the awards have a strongly American slant. And no more so than in this year's 'Humor' category - where the nominees are Funny Or Die, CollegeHumor, The Onion and Team Coco, the online home of Conan O'Brien.

But flying the flag for Britain, in the 'Individual Short or Episode' category, are our very own Simon Pegg and Nick Frost - who have been nominated for their CollegeHumor spoof of Star Wars.
