Chantelle Houghton Admits: 'Alex Reid Did Walk Out On Me, But Now He's Back'

The on-going saga that is Chantelle Houghton and Alex Reid's rocky relationship has taken another turn after she confirmed that he did walk out on her earlier this month.

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner has admitted that the cross-dressing cage fighter left her and their newborn daughter Dolly, but has since returned to the family home.

Writing in her New! magazine column, Chantelle said: “I can confirm that Alex did leave our house last week.

"He stayed at his mum’s and didn’t come back for a week. Now he’s back but that’s all I want to say about it at the moment.”

She had hinted at the troubles in her column last week, with a source adding that she was ready to give up on their engagement.

However, despite Chantelle confirming Alex's walk out, last week he took to Twitter to deny he had left her.

He tweeted: “I never walked out!... It’s so blooming stupid and boring.”

Errr, so which is it then? *scratches head*
