She and her old Spice Girls colleagues launched their new musical Viva Forever, which features many of the group's huge hits, today.

As they appeared together publicly for the first time in four years, Mel B and Geri Halliwell both suggested Oscar-winning Hollywood star Ange should play Posh if anyone chose to make a biopic about the group.

But the singer-turned-fashion-designer winced, and responded: "Oh, God."

Geri's suggestion for Mel B also fell wide of the mark when she offered US star Jada Pinkett-Smith as a possible contender.

"Scary Spice" Mel replied: "Don't be so obvious, that's racist. Why would she have to be mixed race? Zoe Saldana, I want her."

Mel C said she would be happy for Kate Beckinsale to play her, saying "I'll have that", when Bunton suggested her.

Geri opted for redhead Julianne Moore to play her, while Emma Bunton said she would be happy for Kate Hudson to take her role.

The Spice Girls said they would be keen to see Viva Forever - produced by Mamma Mia!'s Judy Craymer - adapted for the big screen.

Mel C said: "That's an absolutely dream scenario."

Victoria added: "That would be great. I think we'll see how it goes. but it would be great."
