50 Shades Of Grey - Read In 50 Famous Voices (VIDEO)

WATCH: 50 Impressions Of Grey

And today's tip of the hat goes to the self-styled Man Of A Kajillion Voices, impressionist Brock Baker.

Mr Baker, you see, has read 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' so you don't have to. And not only that: he's read it out loud in 50 different voices.

Just click play on the video above to see what EL James's modern, erm, classic sounds like in the hands - or rather: lungs - of Robert De Niro, Elmo, Mickey Mouse, Christopher Walken... and 46 others.

And if that's put you in the mood (as it were) - here are just a fistful (sorry) of the other 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' parodies out there:

Fifty Shades of Pleasure(01 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Pleasure: A Bedside Companion" by Marina Bennett. A guide to "Sex Secrets that Hurt So Good," unauthorized by E. L. James or Random House. (Skyhorse Publishing)
Fifty Shames of Earl Grey(02 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shames of Earl Grey," a parody by Fanny Merkin (aka me). I put together this slideshow, so I'm listing this first. It originally started as "Fifty-one Shades," a serialized parody that I self-published on my blog, www.evilreads.com, back in February. There's teabagging on the cover...what more do you need to know? The "Fifty Shames of Earl Grey" ebook and paperback are available now. (Da Capo Press)
Fifty Shades of Victorian Desire(03 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Victorian Desire," an anthology of public domain erotic works. Originally published in 1996 in the UK as "Victorian Secrets: An Anthology of Victorian Erotica." (Michael O' Mara Books)
12 Shades of Surrender(04 of17)
Open Image Modal
"12 Shades of Surrender," a selection of 12 previously released erotic novellas from Harlequin and Mills & Boon UK, republished with new covers and branding for the post-"Fifty Shades of Grey" market. A paperback anthology will be released in September. (Harlequin/Mills & Boon) (Note: I'm sleeping with one of the authors in this collection, but you'll have to follow me on Twitter to find out which one!)
Fifty Shades of Louisa May(05 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Louisa May" by L. M. Anonymous. The erotic diaries of "Little Women" author Louisa May Alcott. (Originally self-published, re-released by OR Books)
A Million Shades of Green(06 of17)
Open Image Modal
"A Million Shades of Green: The Real Story Behind Fifty Shades of Grey" by Sean Black. A short history of "Fifty Shades of Grey," pulled from existing interviews and content. (Self-published.)
A Coupla Shades of Taupe(07 of17)
Open Image Modal
"A Coupla Shades of Taupe," a parody by Court Burback. "Pagan Taupe is the wealthiest man in all of Arkansas. He’s got everything. The only thing that’s missing is a whiny young codependent named Alexandra Aluminum." (Diversion Books)
A Guy's Secret Guide to Fifty Shades of Grey(08 of17)
Open Image Modal
"A Guy's Secret Guide to Fifty Shades of Grey" by Tom M. Paolangeli. The advice for guys is spot-on, actually: "Trust me - you do not want to read the book. It was written by a woman, for women. Most guys will find it dull, stupid, tiresome and waaaay too long. The ratio of tedious inner female monologue to sex scenes is about fifty shades of boring to one." (Self-published.)
Fifty Shades of Blue(09 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Blue," a collection of poems by Banana the Poet. Can you judge a book by the cover? (Self-published)
Fifty Shades Nastier(10 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades Nastier" by Burt Maverick. Completely unrelated to "Fifty Shades of Grey," this was removed once by Amazon until the writer added a subtitle ("The Erotic Writer"). It's since been removed again, either by Amazon or by the author. (Self-published.)
Fifty Shades of Grey and Zombies(11 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Grey and Zombies," a parody by Grey West. "When young zombie-hunter Christian Steel goes to interview the powerful and enigmatic CEO Mr. Grey West, he encounters a man who has just as many secrets as he does silver ties." (The American Fossil Company)
Fifty Shades of Black & Blue(12 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Black & Blue," a parody by E. L. Jones. This was the first parody to appear on Amazon in April. The lookalike wasn't clearly labelled as a parody, and the author name ("E L Jones") was apparently too misleading for Amazon--who removed the Kindle book. The author re-uploaded it under a new author name, "I B Naughtie," with the words, "A Parody," on the cover. (EnteleConsult)
Fifty Shades of Mr. Darcy(13 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Mr. Darcy," a parody by William Codpiece Thwackery. "Lizzy Steele had been brought up to be a proper lady - with perfect manners, skilled in conversation and well respected in the community. But when Mr Elliot Bingley comes to court Lizzy's sister, she is given the opportunity to learn a somewhat different skill set upon her introduction to his friend, a Mr Christian Darcy." (Michael O' Mara Publications)
Fifty Shades of Gay(14 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Gay" by Lola Swain is one of ten ebooks sharing the same name, although this was the first one to pop up on Amazon. Despite the distinctive coloring and typeface, this book actually has nothing to do with "Fifty Shades of Grey." (Self-published.)
Fifty Shades of Red Riding Hood(15 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty Shades of Red Riding Hood," a 19-page short story by R. R. Hood. In the words of the author, "It was a romance that the world would never understand. He was a big bad wolf; she was just a young woman with no self-respect. Repetitive, badly written and poorly edited, ‘Fifty Shades of Red Riding Hood’ has all the ingredients necessary to become a runaway success." (Self-published.)
Why You Love Fifty Shades of Gray(16 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Why You Love Fifty Shades of Gray: And What to Do About It," by Jackie Snow. Okay, you're not even trying now, are you? First, the book is "Fifty Shades of GREY," and second...there is no second. #fail (Self-published)
Fifty-one Shades of Blonde(17 of17)
Open Image Modal
"Fifty-one Shades of Blonde" by Jessica Knoll was originally published in Cosmo magazine as Cosmo's "own version" of "Fifty Shades of Grey," but will soon be released as an ebook with new chapters. Stop me if you've heard this one: "Christopher Reiss is the handsome and extremely intimidating CEO of a major financial firm..." (Cosmopolitan)
