Abbey And Peter Crouch's House Raided By Burglars

Raided!

Model and WAG Abbey Crouch was left shaken this week when she returned home to find a gang of burglars had ransacked the £4.5m house she shares with husband Peter Crouch in Cheshire.

Abbey had been in hospital with footballer husband Peter who had tested positive for meningitis and returned to discover that a gang of four burglars had fled with £100,000 worth of jewellery, watches and all the Christmas presents that the couple had bought for friends and family.

A source close to the couple told The Sun: "They were shaken up by this - it is not how you want to start Christmas.

"The men weren't able to take heavy items because they were disturbed, but they left the place ransacked."

Abbey called doctors after hubby Peter fell seriously ill and she had been feeling unwell herself for most of the week. The couple were rushed into hospital for tests and returned home to discover the gang had broken in through the kitchen window.

The source said: "She had been poorly all week and Peter was caring for her most of that time. But now the tables have been turned and Abbey is looking after him."

It is thought the burglars had been watching the house for days before forcing their way in on Tuesday. Police told The Mirror: "Thieves broke in to the house via a kitchen window, stealing jewellery and electrical items."

The couple were previously raided in 2006 at a previous home, where thieves stole £200,000 worth of goods.

Not what you want before Christmas! Get well soon guys!
