Some stores opened at midnight and customers were queuing around the block to literally snatch a bargain Black Friday.

There were scenes of utter chaos as Asda opened it doors to the baying public just so they grab a slightly cheaper TV. Police were called and fights broke out as the sheer madness of the popular American tradition has slowly made its way across the Atlantic.
