Shoppers are swarming to the high street for the Boxing Day sales as they hunt down the best cut-price post-Christmas goods..

You can expect the usual post-Christmas tradition - shoppers queuing up for hours, a stampede as the doors open to get to the sales first and general bargain-hunting madness.

The Boxing Day sales normally spill over into January under a "January Sale" title, as shops try to keep shoppers interested as the new year kicks off.
