Jason Alexander, Britney Spears' Ex-Husband, Blasts Jason Trawick Engagement

'Their Engagement Is Fake'

They were married for all of 55 hours but Britney Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander has blasted the recent announcement the singer is to marry agent Jason Trawick as 'fake'.

Alexander, a childhood sweetheart the Toxic hitmaker wed on a whim in Las Vegas back in 2004, says he is concerned for the star as he thinks they are not suited.

Spears' former agent Trawick proposed to the singer last week but Alexander fears his one-time love is making another mistake.

He tells UsMagazine.com: "It's sort of sad... I know everyone wants me to be happy about this, but I am not. I think it's fake and I think people are afraid to say it... If you look at all the pictures between them there is no connection. They look like they are going through the motions."

Alexander married Britney during her troubles when she was as likely to marry the first person on the street as she was to shave her head but Britney annulled the marriage after three days.

Not all of the pop star's exes feel the same way - Kevin Federline, the father of Spears' sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, recently insisted he was "really happy" for his former wife.

Britney could do with some happiness. Lets hope her ex is wrong and that this one lasts!
