Marilyn Monroe Nude: Playboy Celebrations On 50th Anniversary Of Star's Death (PICTURES)

Playboy's Original Covergirl Marilyn Monroe Graces December Issue
|

Playboy is serving up a Christmas treat for Marilyn Monroe fans - commemorating the actress on the front of its December issue.

This August marked 50 years since the actress passed away, aged just 36. And Playboy's tribute is particularly fitting as Monroe was the magazine's very first cover girl way back in 1953.

Founder Hugh Hefner recalls: "She was most in control when she was in the nude. What would be a position of vulnerability for others was a position of power for her."
