Meme-Filled Marriage Proposal Video Is Nerdy, Jaw-Achingly Sweet

WATCH: Meme-Filled Marriage Proposal Video

Before you watch this meme-filled proposal video, know this: it's uber-cute. So cute that it transcends cuteness and runs around screaming its head off in Worryingly-Twee Land, throwing adorable puppies at your face and sliding about on rainbows.

Basically, it's like Zooey Deschanel's belly-flopped into a swimming pool made of golden syrup. Whilst reciting internet memes. For some reason.

In reality, it's actually a very (read: extremely) heartfelt video put together by Timothy Tiah and his friends when he decided to propose to his girlfriend, Audrey, as she was at a restaurant with some of her mates.

The quirk is, of course, that Tim used slides containing a series of memes to help him propose, featuring everything from Puss In Boots to Barack Obama.

If you want to learn about all of Tim's memery, you probably best head to the home of all things memey, knowyourmeme.com, where all the internet in-joke answers are kept.

As for Audrey and Tim, you can find out more about them at their blogs - Audrey has a page called "Why am I so cute?", by the way - as well as the video page itself, which will tell you the name of the song they use. Useful if you need something to accompany your brand new skipping kittens video, for example.

While we're here, please find below our favourite quirky proposal videos for your delectation and appreciation. Warning: some will also be very, very twee - and very, very nerdy.
