Roll up, roll up, the travelling wrestling show has come to town. Masked and bearing monikers like ‘Crazy Clown’, ‘Black Fury’ and ‘Big Mama’, the Caravan Super Tarin is putting on free shows for Mexico city’s poorest city districts, prisons and orphanages.

Known as Lucha Libra, the shows, which normally costs 300 pesos (£14/ $22), offer free entertainment for those who can’t visit the big city arenas. Grateful fans often bring plates of food for the wrestlers, who earn less for these events.

The brawls typically see children and women jumping into the fray, smacking wrestlers with brooms and whatever else is at hand, AP reports.

Hands up if you prefer this to the Olympics.
