'Mother Squirts Breastmilk At Woman' Story Has A Lot Of People Very Confused

'The lady should have moved her husband, who possibly needed more milk in his coffee.'

Earlier this week a story about a confrontation between a woman and a breastfeeding mother made headlines and caused an incredibly heated debate.

The incident, reported by a number of national news outlets, alleged the lady in question “squirted her boob” at a bystander who had objected to her feeding her baby in public.

The source of the story is a Facebook page called Dartford Gossip Group.

After being widely reported it created a huge debate about breastfeeding in public and whether or not the real villain of the story was the the mother or the “easily distracted husband”.

Comments on national newspapers websites included...

If breastfeeding a child is a distraction for a man then he needs serious help and it would be him I’d be angry at not the lady feeding the baby. Having said that, really!! You squirted someone with your boobs!

The lady should have moved her husband, who possibly needed more milk in his coffee.

And so on in much the same vein.

But then there was a twist.

A man on Facebook claimed he had made the whole thing up to show how gullible the press can be.

Who to believe? Can we trust anyone?

And is ever acceptable to squirt breastmilk at someone...
