BRIT Award-winning, platinum-selling London four-piece Rudimental and hit-makers Gorgon City will take to the skies to perform the first ever gig to be live streamed over the Atlantic Ocean.The two London based bands will wow an exclusive audience of super fans on the inaugural flight of the new Virgin Atlantic 787, as it flies from London to Atlanta, USA for the very first time on Thursday 23rd October 2014. Audiences around the world will be able to enjoy the gig as it becomes the first to be live streamed via Wi-Fi whilst the 787 is flying over the Atlantic Ocean. Titled #FlightDecks, the gig will see Rudimental play back-to-back with North London duo Gorgon City in a DJ collaboration taking place 30,000 feet above the Atlantic. The one-time-only DJ sets will be streamed live on Thursday 23rd October 2014 and will be available to hear via SoundCloud immediately afterwards.
