The inaugural Red Bull Cape Fear contest was held at Cape Solander in Botany Bay on Sunday in 2-3 metre waves. Reknowned as being one of the craziest and most dangerous waves in the world, Cape Solander breaks over reef only a couple of feet deep and 10 metres from barnacle covered rocks. 14 of the best big wave surfers from around the world were flown in for the contest including surfers from Hawaii, USA, New Zealand and Australia.
