Snooki, AKA Nicole Polizzi, has welcomed a baby boy Lorenzo Dominic into the world with fiance Jionni LaValle.

The baby was born on Saturday night, weighing 6lbs at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.

The new mum took to Twitter to tell the world: "I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE'S MY WORLD! ❤"

"Being a mom is an amazing feeling!!! I love my little man to death! Jionni is such a cute dad," she added.

Her fiance Jionni, who she met on the set of Jersey Shore, wrote: "I'll never forget old high school memories or the vacations I been on with my boys, I will also never forget 8/26/12 the day my son was born!"

Lorenzo Dominic is the couple's first child.
