It is, as you may have noticed, football Christmas right now.
And this hasn't escaped the notice of police in the South Warwickshire area.
@SWarksCops is their Twitter account ("Please do not report crime via Twitter - call 101 or, in an emergency, dial 999"). And if they've had a chance to shoe-horn in a World Cup reference - or even better, a #WorldCup reference - into a tweet, they've done it. And continue to do it.
