Twitter Jokes Of The Week
|

This week was dominated by one story: Dean Gaffney saying he'd applied to be a spy.

Yes, just like Michael Fabricant, you couldn't make it up. And maybe The Sun did. But aside from the Gaffney bombshell, this week also saw the publication of a small pamphlet called The Leveson Report, a debate over minimum alcohol prices, more local by-elections, more UKIP controversy, and the news that the new Bank of England Governor is Mark Carney. Or as he's known in his native Canada: Mark Carn, Eh!

And as usual, we've trawled through Twitter so you don't have to, bringing you a round-up of funny tweets about all of the above - plus Frenchman Joey Barton, angry half-man Angus T. Jones, and more Murs. Enjoy!
