iPhone 7 Upgrade For Free: The Hack Apple Doesn't Want You To Know About

This is not a drill.

With the new iPhone 7’s whopping £500+ price tag many Apple fans will undoubtedly be unsure about splashing out on another new smartphone so soon.

But that’s where this new innovation comes in. Apple Plug is a simple way to upgrade your iPhone 6 to an iPhone 7.

It’s essentially just a hunk of metal you can use to render your headphone jack useless.

The Plug: a hunk of metal you can use to render your headphone jack useless.

”This isn’t 2009. Your phone doesn’t have a floppy drive, and it shouldn’t have a headphone connector either,” the website says. “Fill in your archaic headphone connector with beautiful aluminium and plug yourself into the future.”

Although it looks like a real Apple website, the Plug is actually the brainchild of Nicer, a design studio who just wanted to have a bit of fun.

But if you think their idea is actually good, why not try chopping off a headphone jack and shoving it into your old iPhone so you can pretend you’ve got the latest model?

Just don’t blame us when you can’t get it out.
