Tweets About Vincent Tabak's Sex Fetish May Land Blogger In Jail

The Attorney General is considering whether to take action over a tweet exposing the sordid sex life of Joanna Yeates's murderer.

The blogger is alleged have to ignored a Contempt of Court Act reporting ban on Vincent Tabak's interest in strangulation sex during his trial.

The suspect, who is understood not to be a journalist, was arrested last week over a tweet sent out in the weeks before the jury delivered its guilty verdict against Tabak.

The office of Dominic Grieve QC confirmed that it had received papers from Bristol Crown Court about the tweet.

Reporting restrictions banning publication of the information about hardcore pornography on Tabak's computer were lifted on Friday after his conviction.

Tabak, 33, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 20 years after a jury found him guilty of strangling his next-door neighbour in Clifton for sexual thrills.

Jurors were never told of videos found on his laptops which had chilling parallels with the way Miss Yeates, 25, died.

The pornography depicted blonde women being throttled during sex or bundled into car boots.

Two weeks before murdering the landscape architect, he paid for sex with a prostitute during a business trip to Los Angeles.
