'America's Got Talent' Reveals A New Star: The Opera-Singing Goth Andrew De Leon (VIDEO)

Andrew De Leon is a 19-year-old make up artist from Austin, Texas. He's also a goth, so when he rocked up to the Austin auditions for America's Got Talent with false pupil contact lenses, heavy black eye shadow and a studded leather jacket, he raised a couple of eyebrows.

But so what if this guy's raising eyebrows? Mr. De Leon has talent, gosh darn it, and he's going to show it to the AGT judges - that's radio host Howard Stern, musical matriarch Sharon Osbourne and that bald TV host Howie Mandel - despite the fact he's never sung to anyone ever before.

That's right, De Leon's performance to the assembled crowds at Austin was the first he'd ever given that wasn't into a hairbrush or his bedroom mirror. Oh, and the song he chose? Well, that's O Mio Babbino Caro. The opera ditty. By Puccini.

In other words, prepare to have your metaphorical socks metaphorically blown off by a Goth with a voice of an angel. Well, a dark angel perhaps.
