England And Wales Fans football fans seemed to be in good spirits after Thursday's match in the French city of Lens.

At half time it was 1-0 to Wales, with Welsh fans singing "England's going home".

But the Vardy party began not long into the second half with an equaliser and a late goal from Daniel Sturridge saw England to a 2-1 victory.

There were no signs of any trouble but Lens is just 20 miles from Lille where football supporters have clashed with French police in tense scenes.

Police made 36 arrests and authorities said 16 people have been treated in hospital after trouble there.
