Is blood thicker than table spreads? Apparently nothing must come between a man and his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Jerome Davis of Des Moines, was arrested on Friday after allegedly pulling a knife on his brother during an argument about said sandwiches, the Associated Press writes.

The Des Moines Register cites a police report which states Jerome: “made three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ate them in the living room.

“Within the next hour, the suspect made another three of these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bringing his total consumption of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to six.

“This angered the victim.”

The men, both aged in their 50s, then began to argue about laziness and overeating and Jerome is alleged to have pulled out a folding knife and held it to his brother’s face.

He was charged with domestic abuse with a weapon, KCCI reports.
