We've (or should that be weave!) seen some hair-raising projects in our time but none more so than this. Created by Italian hairstylist Maria Lucia Mugno this small Fiat 500 is covered entirely in human hair. Thereâs hair everywhere â on the exterior, the seats, the dashboard, and even the steering wheel. Paying homage to her career, the 44-year-old hairstylist decided to cover it in hair after a friend bet her that she couldnât do it. So with the help of her assistant Valentino Stassano, she spent 150 hours sewing thickly braided strands of hair imported from India onto her small Fiat 500. The effort won her the Guinness World Record title for the worldâs hairiest car. As if that wasn't enough, sheâs now added another 20 kg of hair to the car, setting a new record this year. The additional hair is sculpted into the shape of butterfly wings that sit on top, symbolising freedom and peace in the world. In case youâre wondering, Maria does drive the furry beast around town. And she brushes it down regularly to keep it looking well groomed. Given the fact that natural hair extensions are quite expensive, the car is estimated to be worth almost 100,000USD! (credit:WENN)

Militants of Islamic State (IS) are seen just before explosion of air strike on Tilsehir hill near Turkish border on October 23, 2014, at Yumurtalik village, in Sanliurfa province. Turkey said on October 21 that Kurdish peshmerga fighters based in Iraq have yet to cross into Syria from Turkish territory, a day after announcing it was assisting their transit to join the battle for the Syrian town of Kobane, also known as Ain al-Arab. It was seen as a major switch in policy by Turkey, which until now has refused to interfere in the over month-long battle for Kobane between Syrian Kurdish fighters and Islamic State (IS) jihadists.
