An incredible photo, which appears to show a creature similar to the legendary Loch Ness Monster, has been captured accidentally by an Autographer life camera on the normally serene and beautiful shores of Lake Windermere. The photographer had set up his tripod in the British beauty spot to take photos automatically throughout the day, hoping to capture the beautiful colours of the changing seasons and maybe even a few shots of the Greylag goose, a permanent fixture at the lake. Having returned to download the images to his smartphone, he made the amazing discovery – what appears to be a plesiosaur (a reptile dating back 205 million years) beneath the water. Obvious comparisons have now been made to the UK’s most famous under-water resident, the Loch Ness Monster.
