Nine people were buried alive on Tuesday by a rain-triggered landslide in southwest China’s Yunnan province, authorities said. The disaster struck Xiaoxin village in Dongchuan district of provincial capital Kunming around 11am, Xinhua reported citing a spokesman with the district’s publicity office.
