San Francisco Nudist Ban Prompts Naked Court Protest (VIDEO)

WATCH: Protesters Strip Over San Fran Nudist Ban

Nudists in San Francisco decided that the best way to protest against legislation banning public nudity was to... get naked.

A law prohibiting people from exposing their genitals in most public places was passed by a whisker after people regularly walking naked in the Castro District became too much to bare for some.

As the legislation was passed a number of irate garment shedders staged a brief protest before being, gingerly, man-handled out of the court.

The ban has exposed cracks in public opinion on nudity which will still be allowed at certain street fairs and events, reports the BBC.
