Single? Free On 29 February? 'Andrew29th' Would Like To Meet You At London's Spitalfields Market (VIDEO)

WATCH: Would You Ask Out This Man On 29 February?

Meet Andrew Thomas. Seriously, would you like to meet him? We ask because he's taking a day off next Wednesday - 29 February - and setting up shop in London's Spitalfields Market just to meet you in the flesh.

Now you're probably thinking something along the lines of "Who's this nutter?", and that's highly understandable. But before you write him off for good, take a look at high charming video plea above and you should get a much better impression of the man.

For those of you who'd like to know a little bit more about him before you click play, however, we've spoken to him and picked up a few details you might be interested in.

For starters, Andrew's a 35-year-old Welshman who works in advertising in London and has been single for five months. Since uploading his lonely plea to the interwebs a couple of days ago, he's already received over 150 responses from ladies who say they are definitely coming, forcing him to move his set-up from the original position of Liverpool Street Station to the nearby Spitalfields market.

What actually inspired you to do this? Is this just a... why the hell not thing?

Well, I'm a creative working in the advertising/marketing world (at an agency called Fold7) and I spend my days thinking up ideas and spotting opportunities for clients.

So I'm single and being single in the the Big Smoke is a difficult thing. It's really hard to meet new people so I thought I'm going to do something about it. After all, if I cant market myself, what can I market?

I heard about this special date (29 February, when traditionally women are allowed to propose to men) and came up with an idea. I took it on myself to make a website and a film explaining the idea, sent it out to a few friends and away we go! And it's gone nuts, the exposure and the feedback has been great, ridiculous almost.

What would you do if someone actually turns up on the day and proposes to you?

Proposes? I have plans, I think if some has the "balls" to come up to me and do something, they need to be rewarded, so they will.

What will you be wearing on the day to set yourself out from the crowd? And at which exit?

Well, I definitely will be standing out from the crowd! You won't be able to miss me. Regarding which exit, there has been a change of plans (I've had around 150 girls saying they are definitely coming) so I'm going to move over the road to Spitalfields Market, under the monument of the goat.

So what do you reckon, ladies? Are you charmed by Andrew's online antics? Will you be proposing/asking him out/just saying hi come next Wednesday, or will the hordes of other women put you off? Let us know in the comment box and poll below.
