Girl, 17, Dies After Being Stabbed In East London

A 17-year-old girl has died after she was stabbed in a park in Harold Hill, east London, on Friday night, Scotland Yard said.

Police were called at 9.25pm to reports of a stabbing in the park, close to St Neot’s Road.

Officers attended and found a girl, believed to be aged 17, suffering from a stab injury. She was pronounced dead at 10.26pm.

Police said next of kin have been informed and an investigation has been launched by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
