The now viral video clip featured a woman apparently making a home movie of herself twerking upside down against a door.
Naturally the door opens, she loses her balance, crashes through a glass table and catches fire.

It now turns out American TV host and merry japester Jimmy Kimmel staged the whole thing.
An extended version of the clip (above) features Kimmel entering the room with a fire extinguisher and putting out the flaming girl - one stunt woman named Daphne Avalon.
As the video nudged over 9 million views in less than a week, Kimmel will be feeling understandably proud of himself, particularly when he revealed on Monday night: "We didn't send it to any TV station, we didn't tweet it.
"We just put it on YouTube and let the magic happen."
As to why he did it, well, Kimmel boldly states: "Hopefully, this will end twerking forever."
