If you use Facebook or have opened an email from a co-worker in the past year, you've probably noticed the swathe of peculiar articles involving DisneyPrincesses being reimagined in some way - usually something hugely relatable, ridiculous or making some sort of statement.

Like Disney Princesses With Period Stains which involved using Microsoft Paint to spray a bit of red on various characters' crotches.

We've seen Disney Princesses As Raptors, If Disney Princesses Had Realistic Hair and Disney Princesses With Realistic Body Hair. Don't get us wrong, there's nothing wrong with a little period blood. We just don't know why it needs to be on a cartoon character.
