Americans woke up on Thursday to once again find much of the country besieged by snow. More than a foot fell on towns and cities along the eastern United States, leaving many people unable to get to work and travellers grounded due to airport closures.

With heavy drifts covering much of land, the nation’s dogs were also forced to brave the inclement weather, with some enjoying the powdery downfall a little more than others…
